Bond Bar

If you’re looking for a bit of history with your drinks, you’ve got to check out Bond Bar. This place was built in the 1800s, but due to an earthquake in 1906, the place had to be rebuilt. Some would say that this bar was cursed because an intense fire in 1976 gutted the top two floors of the space, where you can still see some char marks at the top of the steps. That didn’t keep this place down though! Today, this is one of the premier places where singles like to go to unwind, enjoy a drink or two, and take in the beauty that this place has to offer. Come dressed to impress if you want to make a good impression!

Wish

If you’ve been wishing to find someone that you could connect with, enjoy great music and drinks, then you’re going to WISH you heard about this place sooner (like what we did there?) WISH is at the edge of San Fran’s SOMA district and it features the best house music in the area. What really stands out about this venue is that it once was an iron forge, but it was transformed into an intimate den where you can languish in wood, rich velvet, leather, and candles. WISH is going to be the place where you’re going to want to get up close and personal with someone, for sure.

Holy Water

When you step inside Holy Water, it’s almost like you’re being taken back in time to a temple of worship. However, the only thing being worshipped here is alcohol and a good time. You’ll find that when you come to Holy Water, you’ll be surrounded by church themed décor, whether it is the holy water bottles on the wall, the baptism mural on the wall, or the tithe buckets. Don’t worry about being preached too because the only rules you’ll gave to follow are the 10 cocktails to abide by: Jungle Bird (black rum, Campari, pineapple and lime) or Search for the Holy Gimlet (gin, cucumber and lemon) are just a small sample. So, if you feel like skipping actual church, come pray here!

Bootie SF

Bootie SF
If you’re looking for a great singles adventure, you should check out the Bootie Mashup parties at DNA Lounge. Bootie SF is like a melting pot of everything San Francisco nightlife has to offer, with four different rooms of music (and people) to explore. The main room specializes in bootleg mashups, those DJ creations that take two or more familiar songs and “mash” them together, and each week is a different theme. There’s also an 11pm stage show, featuring drag queens, burlesque, aerial acts, or their house band, Smash-Up Derby. So if you’ve ever wondered what Metallica and Run DMC would sound like together, or Britney Spears singing with Daft Punk, this is going to be your chance to hear it.

The venue feels like it came right out of the 1950s and that definitely works in its favor. People really come here for the poolside dining and drinking patio, the only of which exists in the city! If you do get hungry, Chambers offers an impressive dinner menu that is comprised of regular sized plates, but also smaller dishes. You can also check out the wine list for your favorite vintage.

Hawthorn

Hawthorn can be found a few blocks away from Union Square in a lovely brick basement underneath the busy streets of San Fran. Two centuries ago, the venue used to be a brothel and drug store, but today it is a great little bar that you can go for a perfectly blended craft cocktail and a chill nightlight. The space oozes sophisticated sexiness. However, if you want something a little more private, you might want to check out the Bonaparte Room for a 1930s Hollywood glam look and feel. Now they ‘re more of a hybrid venue, hosting craft cocktails and chill atmosphere during  happy hours and mid-week days and then ramp up into more of a nightlife vibe with dj’s and dancing on Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays. The VOID sound system is what really makes the party that much more exciting than other venues in the city.  While you may not be able to have a good conversation, you can at least bust a move or two with some sexy single!

Mr. Smith’s

If you are looking for a swanky place to go for great cocktails and may spot a few celebrities, then perhaps Mr. Smith’s is going to be your go-to spot. There have been reported sightings of celebs like Taye Diggs, Will.i.am, and Carson Daily, but that shouldn’t be the only reason why you stop by. The venue has three floors of sexiness that you’ve got to experience for yourself. The main room is filled with ornate mirrors with vintage flocked wallpaper and furnishings that look like they were straight from the Victorian era. If you want a refreshing experience with no attitude from the staff, then this is going to be a great place to visit.
