If you don’t want to head into Pittsburgh for a drink, take a 10 minute drive and visit Bar 3 Millvale. The venue is your typical bar restaurant combination, but that’s not why this place is on our list. The atmosphere here is so welcoming and inviting, it’s hard not to want to keep coming back. The staff is friendly and knowledgable about the food and drinks, but the patrons are just as welcoming. This place isn’t just a production brewery, they are a taproom and brewpub all combined into one. You can tour the brewery every other Saturday, but you’ll also be able to choose from the many different beers the venue has to offer. Of course, if you’re hungry, there will be a food truck on Friday and Saturday where you can nosh while you sip.

With that aside, the staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable and are always interested in making your experience worthwhile. Club Cafe is a place where you can attend a concert put on by local artists who are making a name for themselves in Pittsburgh’s music scene, but also from all over the world. The intimate venue is a great place to bring a date, especially if they enjoy music that isn’t what you’d hear on the radio. You can also dine and drink while enjoying the music. The food menu isn’t large, but that doesn’t mean it’s lacking in flavor and quality. There are a decent amount of cocktails and draft beers that you could choose from, but if you ask us, the Tiki Harvest cocktail is divine!
