This Is How To Become Asexual

Answered by dating expert Alex Reddle

A person doesn’t become asexual any more than a person becomes gay so there is no How To… book on this one. There are some asexuals that dress without drawing attention to their gender, but it won’t make you asexual. You either are or aren’t. It doesn’t mean you don’t want a relationship either. You might or might not, but sex doesn’t feature. Pretty much you can live your life as you want. If you decide to date and you can find people who feel the same way online on dating sites. People are more aware of asexuality so there are specialist dating sites too.

Sexuality is fluid, and subject to changes. There is a possibility for one to become asexual, lose sexual desires if you were not before. With time, castration kills sexual interests. Once the testicles are removed, a man will lose his libido, then the overall urge to have sex. However, some castrated men can have sex, but there will be minimal to no sperms during ejaculation. Trauma, such as rape, can drive most victims to become asexual – most become repulsive pf sexual encounters. Hormonal imbalances can take away your sexual urges. For whatever reason you will have for becoming asexual, each is valid.
